This policy explains what personal information Eastall Software Systems Limited (“Eastall”, “ESS”, “we”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to eastall.software and every service we operate under it.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, date of birth, organization/domain, and a securely hashed password when you register or are provisioned an Eastall account.
- Content you provide — information you enter into our services, submit through forms, or upload (for example, worksite photos in PinPoint).
- Billing information — where you purchase a paid service, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation and limited billing metadata, but never your full card number.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar log data, used to keep our services secure and reliable.

3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain and improve our services;
- To authenticate you and keep your account and our systems secure;
- To process payments and manage subscriptions;
- To respond to enquiries and provide support;
- To send important service notices (for example, security or billing updates); and
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run our business — such as Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure providers, and communication tools — under agreements that require them to protect it;
- Authorities where we are legally required to do so; and
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services, then only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
6. Security
We protect your information with a single hardened account system, encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@eastall.software. We may need to verify your identity first.
8. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure it receives an equivalent level of protection to that required under New Zealand law.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use our services means you accept the updated policy.
